Why be a member of BOTRA?

• SA BOTRA is the “voice of our industry” in South Australia.
• BOTRA exists to promote harness racing and breeding in South Australia, and to advocate for improved outcomes for all industry participants.

In 2026, BOTRA will deliver the following benefits to Members:

• Race bonuses awarded across five feature races held between April and November 2026. Each race will carry a $1,000 bonus, payable to the first South Australian owned and trained horse past the post, provided all owners, trainers and the driver are a current member of BOTRA before March 1st, 2026.
• Breeding incentives.
• Industry communication and Information sharing through 6 editions of the BOTRA Newsletter, distributed electronically to members.
• Members of BOTRA are eligible for industry awards to recognise excellence and effort in harness racing.
• Membership provides access to exclusive incentives and offers from local businesses that support harness racing.
