Alabar Stallions dominate GN Heats

The two Alabar Golden Nursery heats conducted at Globe Derby Park were timely with both won by sons of Alabar’s champion sire Art Major.

Art Major (pictured)  is described on Alabar’s Website as “Quite simply one of the greatest sires in the world today. He continually sires both high class fillies and colts” and who could argue?

– Seven time Australian Leading Juvenile Sire.
– Set a new Australian 2yo prizemoney record with his first crop – and has been breaking his own record over and over ever since.

The first heat was taken out by  ART JESTER (by Art Major) trained by Alyce Finnis, driven by her husband Jayson, who powered home to beat Im Princess Bella, also byArt Major another Alabar Stallion in A Rocknroll Dance. Third was Elegant Eyre by former Alabar stallion Auckland Reactor.

Heat two went to JAWSOFLINCOLN (by Art Major) trained by Greg Scholefield driven by Gaita Pullicino.

Alabar’s Always Be Miki sired the runner up EVER HOPING.

Exciting times as six of the nine two-year-old’s, who qualified for the $24,000 Final on October 30, have the Alabar connection.
