David Smith and his son Michael have donned the Prostate Cancer Foundation colors during November to raise much needed funds. The Smith’s are joined by the Pony Trot Ambassador for 2021, Matthew A’Court, who will also wear the colors during November.
SA BOTRA, along with assistants from HRSA, have for several years promoted and helped raise funds for this needy cause. SA BOTRA’s Vice President Gary Newton said “over 3000 males die from Prostate Cancer each year in Australia and whatever we can raise during November will help bring that figure down.”
“SA BOTRA is thankful to David and Michael Smith for agreeing to be Ambassadors this year and it’s great to involve the Pony Trots for the first time” Newton Added.
What a start on the first Saturday of the fundraising campaign with David driving three winners at Globe Derby. He was successful on Regal Assassin for Frank Pullicino, Ready To Rock for Ray Holberton and Steam Cleaned at 50 to 1 for Bronte Giorgio.
