Every day, 49 Aussie men are diagnosed with prostate cancer.
September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month and once again two of our leading drivers will wear the Prostate Cancer Awareness Colours during races conducted here in South Australia.
This year in form drivers Dean Girardi and young gun Corey Johnson will done the colours to help raise awareness for this cause.
Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia CEO Anne Savage commended South Australian BOTRA and the Harness Racing industry of South Australia for their ongoing commitment to the cause.
“Prostate cancer is the most diagnosed cancer in Australia, with 66 men diagnosed every day and 10 men dying from the disease daily” Ms Savage said.
SA BOTRA has once again set up a site where donations can be made on the following site and remember any donation of $2 or more is tax deductible.
