The Silver Salver SA yearling sale to be held at Globe Derby Park on Sunday March 27, received a boost when former graduate The Queen Of Hearts won her seventh race on Saturday night.
Offered by Stephen Norman of Allenby Lodge Stud at the 2019 sale, the daughter of Four Starzzz Shark, out of the Western Terror mare Couldbeagoodone, was originally knocked down to Southeast Owner Ben Letizia who won four races with the mare before on-selling her to clients of Ryan Hyrhorec.
The win could not have come at a better time for breeder Stephen Norman who has a draft of four yearlings in the 2022 sale.
Norman’s draft are all by the royally bred dual Group 1 winner Major Secret, who first crop is about to hit the track in 2022.
