Some of harness racing’s top drivers will take part in the Australian Drivers’ Championship at Globe Derby on Saturday night (Sep. 17). and Adam Hamilton shares short bios on the drivers.
There will be 11 heats with the winner being determined by points throughout the night.
Drivers in the series will also be up for selection to represent Australia in next year’s World Driving Championship in Italy.
The drivers competing are:
Western Australia – Gary Hall Jnr (defending champion) and Emily Suvaljko
South Australia – Wayne Hill and Ryan Hryorec
Victoria – Kate Gath and James Herbertson
Tasmania – Rohan Hillier and Conor Crook
New South Wales – Cameron Hart and Grace Panella
Queensland – Narissa and Peter McMullen
